Not just yer average production values … I'd say between novelty and Meek? Wasn't sure whether I'd pick them up from the bargain bin at first, but "Strictly Instrumental" is actually a great series ... Too bad it's not so well documented, though, and normally charges fullprice at that. The label's site (Buffalo Bop is an imprint of the German Dee-Jay label) isn't yer most practical either - no not at all. Still: great comps, superb music!
